Now Hiring: Pilates Instructors and Gyrotonic Trainers - Updated Jan 2025

Role Description
We are looking for passionate, happy, and talented trainers! This is a part-time on-site role for Pilates and Gyrotonic Instructors at WAV Physical Therapy & Movement. The Instructors will be responsible for providing Pilates and/or Gyrotonic training sessions to help clients improve their well-being inside and out. This role involves guiding clients through planned movement sequences and exercises, monitoring their progress, and creating personalized training programs with heart and soul.
We offer small group Pilates Reformer and Gyrotonic Tower classes limited to 5-6 participants for equipment based classes, private 1:1 training, plus the opportunity to work and learn alongside Physical Therapists to assist with therapeutic exercises for patients. This is a great way to establish relationships and build your own private clientele.This position has room for growth for those interested! As a body clinic and pilates/Gyrotonic studio, we are steadily growing each year. This opens up leadership opportunities within our organization.
Qualifications
Pilates certification from an accredited institution, or in process.
Certified, licensed Gyrotonic instructors and/or Apprentices are welcome. If you are not a Gyrotonic trainer and are interested in becoming a trainer to enrich your practice, this is the place to be!
Seasoned, experienced trainers are a plus for this position.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills:
Positive, energetic, fun, responsible, caring! We want individuals who want to be a part of our WAV family, who truly care about others and the quality of their training.
Ability to work with clients of all fitness levels and backgroundsExperience in a healthcare or wellness setting is beneficial
Available to work mornings including Saturday mornings, possibly Sunday mornings either/or.

Your Role
As the face of our business, you will serve as our host and concierge, ensuring clients feel welcome and supported from start to finish. In addition, you’ll handle scheduling, administrative tasks, and operational support, working closely with our founders, Dr. Scott Parrish and Alicia Parrish, as well as our team of therapists and teachers.This position is well-suited to individuals with backgrounds in health, wellness, or movement disciplines, such as Pilates or Gyrotonic trainers and Physical Therapists.
Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, promptly and professionally managing phone calls, emails, and texts.
Coordinate scheduling 2–3 months in advance, making adjustments for smooth client and patient flow.
Check clients in and out, process payments, and manage class package tracking.
Oversee client intake, data entry, billing, and insurance processing through our EMR system.
Manage automated appointment reminders and provide pre- and post-treatment instructions to clients.
Perform light retail tasks, including inventory management, reorders, displays, and sales.
Assist with client acquisition, ad creation, and flyer distribution.
Support social media content creation, engagement, and account management.
Maintain communication lists, manage newsletters, and coordinate email/text outreach.
Perform light facility tasks, such as watering plants, handling mail, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
