Explore our professional training and continuing education programs in our beautiful beach town of San Clemente, California. Our offerings include GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® teacher training courses as well as anatomy-based workshops designed to support movement professionals from a variety of disciplines. GYROKINESIS® Level I Teacher Pre Training Course Date Change: Oct 2 - 4 & 9 - 11, 2026

The Gyrokinesis Level 1 Pre-Training Course provides a strong foundation in the Level 1 exercises and class formats, preparing students physically and mentally for the Foundation Course. Through consistent movement practice, students develop familiarity with the rhythm, flow, and structure that define the Gyrokinesis method.
Upon successful completion, students are eligible to continue to the Gyrokinesis Level 1 Foundation Course.

GYROKINESIS® Level I Foundation Course October 23- Nov 2, 2026* with Master Trainer Shannon Horn

The Gyrokinesis Level 1 Foundation Course provides students with a deeper understanding of the Level 1 exercises and class formats while developing the skills and techniques needed to teach the material to others. During this experiential and immersive training, students are introduced to the teaching principles, verbal cueing, and movement progressions that underlie the Gyrokinesis Level 1 curriculum. Through movement practice, observation, and practice teaching, students build confidence as instructors while preparing for the apprenticeship period, Apprentice Review Course, and Final Certification Course.

The Gyrotonic Level 1 Pre-Training Course is part 1 of the teacher training process, and it is also a course anyone can take for personal enrichment. This training supports students in developing a personal understanding of the exercises while preparing both physically and mentally for the Foundation Course.
Students are welcomed into a warm, supportive learning environment where learning unfolds step by step. We create a space where students feel encouraged to move, explore, ask questions, and build confidence in their understanding of the exercises.
Upon successful completion, students are eligible to continue to the Gyrotonic Level 1 Foundation Course.

The Gyrotonic Level 1 Foundation Course is an experiential and immersive training designed to support each student’s learning in a thoughtful and personal way. This course is both thorough and approachable, with time built in for questions, discussion, and meaningful practice. Students receive individualized attention as they develop both their understanding of the exercises and their teaching skills, including the careful development of hands-on cueing to support confident and effective teaching.
Students are welcomed into a warm, supportive learning environment where curiosity is encouraged and learning happens together. We create a learning space where students feel safe to ask questions, take their time with the material, and grow steadily into confident teachers. Upon successful completion, students receive a Certificate of Apprenticeship and begin their apprenticeship period, gaining experience and preparing for the Apprentice Review Course and Final Certification Course.
